The work Tra Le Rocce A Capri by Plinio Nomellini was sold in the ARTE DEL XIX SECOLO auction at Christies in Rome in June 2005. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 17,360.00 45% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Plinio Nomellini achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Le Querci Sul Mare in December 2007 with an auction result of EUR 192,250.00.

Die Arbeit Tra Le Rocce A Capri von Plinio Nomellini wurde im Juni 2005 in der Auktion ARTE DEL XIX SECOLO bei Christies in Rom versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 17.360,00 und damit 45% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Plinio Nomellini erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Le Querci Sul Mare im Dezember 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 192.250,00.
