However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Plinio Nomellini - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Le Querci Sul Mare, which sold at auction in December 2007 for EUR 192,250.00.

Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 56.250,00 (€ 72.412,40) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 61%. Für andere Arbeiten von Plinio Nomellini mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Le Querci Sul Mare beobachtet, die im Dezember 2007 für EUR 192.250,00 versteigert wurde.
