This artwork by Plinio Nomellini achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in Milan in December 2009. In the Old Master Paintings, 19th C Paintings, Furniture and Works of Art auction, the work Maggio Fiorentino; Glicine In Fiore sold for EUR 42,750.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 20,000.00. Admittedly, works by Plinio Nomellini have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Le Querci Sul Mare in December 2007 with an auction result of EUR 192,250.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Plinio Nomellini erzielte im Dezember 2009 bei Sothebys in Mailand einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Old Master Paintings, 19th C Paintings, Furniture and Works of Art wurde die Arbeit Maggio Fiorentino; Glicine In Fiore für EUR 42.750,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 20.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Plinio Nomellini auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Le Querci Sul Mare im Dezember 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 192.250,00.
