This artwork by Plinio Nomellini achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Rome in May 2002. In the ARTE DEL XIX SECOLO - 19TH CENTURY ART auction, the work Sulla spiaggia di Capri sold for EUR 19,840.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 7,000.00. Admittedly, works by Plinio Nomellini have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Le Querci Sul Mare in December 2007 with an auction result of EUR 192,250.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Plinio Nomellini erzielte im Mai 2002 bei Christies in Rom einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion ARTE DEL XIX SECOLO - 19TH CENTURY ART wurde die Arbeit Sulla spiaggia di Capri für EUR 19.840,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 7.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Plinio Nomellini auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Le Querci Sul Mare im Dezember 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 192.250,00.
