Auction result well in line with expectations
In June 2007 Sothebys in Milan held the auction 19th Century Paintings and Sculpture, which included the work Studio Per Guerriero by Plinio Nomellini. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of EUR 10,000.00 – 15,000.00, the actual price achieved of EUR 10,200.00 could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Plinio Nomellini achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Le Querci Sul Mare in December 2007 with an auction result of EUR 192,250.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juni 2007 führte Sothebys in Mailand die Auktion 19th Century Paintings and Sculpture durch, in der auch die Arbeit Studio Per Guerriero von Plinio Nomellini zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 10.000,00 – 15.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von EUR 10.200,00 konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Plinio Nomellini erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Le Querci Sul Mare im Dezember 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 192.250,00.
