Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Four Baby Elephants by Pip McGarry was auctioned at Christies in London in March 2001. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 900.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 1,034.00 (€ 1,668.46). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Pip McGarry achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Flight of the zebra in May 2008 with an auction result of GBP 29,300.00 (€ 37,270.88).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Four Baby Elephants von Pip McGarry kam im März 2001 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 900,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 1.034,00 (€ 1.668,46) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Pip McGarry erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Flight of the zebra im Mai 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 29.300,00 (€ 37.270,88).
