Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Picture B by Pino Pinelli was sold in the First Open auction at Christies in London in April 2017. It changed hands for a price of GBP 13,750.00 (€ 16,328.36) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Pino Pinelli - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work „Pittura grigia“, which sold at auction in December 2020 for EUR 37,500.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Picture B von Pino Pinelli wurde im April 2017 in der Auktion First Open bei Christies in London versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 13.750,00 (€ 16.328,36) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 10.000,00 – 15.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Pino Pinelli mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit „Pittura grigia“ beobachtet, die im Dezember 2020 für EUR 37.500,00 versteigert wurde.
