Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Paesaggio in controluce by Pino Pascali was sold in the Contemporary Curated auction at Sothebys in Milan in July last year. The price achieved of EUR 4,788.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Pino Pascali achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Coda di delfino (Tail of a Dolphin) in October 2016 with an auction result of GBP 2,629,000.00 (€ 2,928,785.62).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Paesaggio in controluce von Pino Pascali wurde im Juli letzten Jahres in der Auktion Contemporary Curated bei Sothebys in Mailand versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 4.788,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 4.000,00 – 6.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Pino Pascali erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Coda di delfino (Tail of a Dolphin) im Oktober 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 2.629.000,00 (€ 2.928.785,62).
