Auction result well in line with expectations
In June 2017 Sothebys in London held the auction to be immediately followed by the Impressionist & Modern Art Evening Sale, which included the work Bomba A Mano by Pino Pascali. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 200,000.00 – 300,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 212,500.00 (€ 241,997.85) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Pino Pascali achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Coda di delfino (Tail of a Dolphin) in October 2016 with an auction result of GBP 2,629,000.00 (€ 2,928,785.62).
