In September 2016 Christies in London held the auction Brian Sewell - Critic & Collector, which included the work The Arch of Titus, Rome by Pietro Sassi. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 5,000.00 (€ 5,790.62), 25% above the upper estimate. With this result, The Arch of Titus, Rome is even the most expensive work of art by Pietro Sassi that we have observed at auctions so far.
