Auction result well in line with expectations
In July 2014 Christies in London held the auction Old Master & British Drawings & Watercolours, which included the work A seated male nude, looking up to the left by Pietro Faccini. It changed hands for a price of GBP 17,500.00 (€ 22,073.00) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 12,000.00 – 18,000.00. Other works by Pietro Faccini have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in December 2018 the work Allegory of the Immaculate Conception was auctioned for GBP 31,250.00 (€ 34,815.27).

Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 17.500,00 (€ 22.073,00) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 12.000,00 – 18.000,00. Andere Arbeiten von Pietro Faccini konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Dezember 2018 die Arbeit Allegory of the Immaculate Conception für GBP 31.250,00 (€ 34.815,27) versteigert.
