Auction result misses estimated price range
In October 2006 a collector was able to acquire the work A reclining nude pierced by an arrow, a study for a Saint Sebastian by Pietro Faccini for USD 4,800.00 (€ 3,757.93). This price was achieved in the auction Old Master Paintings at Christies in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 5,000.00 – 7,000.00 set by the auction house. Admittedly, works by Pietro Faccini have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Allegory of the Immaculate Conception in December 2018 with an auction result of GBP 31,250.00 (€ 34,815.27).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Oktober 2006 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit A reclining nude pierced by an arrow, a study for a Saint Sebastian von Pietro Faccini für USD 4.800,00 (€ 3.757,93) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Old Master Paintings bei Christies in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 5.000,00 – 7.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Pietro Faccini auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Allegory of the Immaculate Conception im Dezember 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 31.250,00 (€ 34.815,27).
