Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Pietro Consagra achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Milan in June last year. In the 20th/21st Century Milan Online Sale Part II auction, the work Welcome to Italy sold for EUR 63,000.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 30,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Pietro Consagra - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Ferro trasparente bianco V, which sold at auction in June 2018 for GBP 152,500.00 (€ 172,350.99).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Pietro Consagra erzielte im Juni letzten Jahres bei Christies in Mailand einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion 20th/21st Century Milan Online Sale Part II wurde die Arbeit Welcome to Italy für EUR 63.000,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 30.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Pietro Consagra mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Ferro trasparente bianco V beobachtet, die im Juni 2018 für GBP 152.500,00 (€ 172.350,99) versteigert wurde.
