The price achieved of USD 96,000.00 (€ 70,278.18) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 80,000.00 – 120,000.00. Other works by Pietro Calvi have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in April 2014 the work Italian Bust Of Othello, The Moor Of Venice was auctioned for GBP 92,500.00 (€ 112,593.91).
