The work Recto: Sheet Of Studies Including A Pietà And Several Figures; Verso: A Nude Man, Almost In Profile, Standing Beside A Lion And Holding A Sword, With Two Separate Studies Of A Right Leg by Pietro Buonaccorsi was sold in the Old Master Drawings auction at Sothebys in London in July 2009. It achieved a price of GBP 91,250.00 (€ 103,541.40), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 52%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Pietro Buonaccorsi achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Holy Family With The Infant Saint John The Baptist in January 2011 with an auction result of USD 2,098,500.00 (€ 1,530,076.56).
