In January 2011 Sothebys in New York held the auction Old Master Drawings, which included the work Jupiter And Juno Reclining In An Alcove Attended By Amorini, Two Others Holding A Heraldic Shield Below by Pietro Buonaccorsi. It changed hands for a price of USD 782,500.00 (€ 570,543.20) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 600,000.00 – 800,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Pietro Buonaccorsi - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work The Holy Family With The Infant Saint John The Baptist, which sold at auction in January 2011 for USD 2,098,500.00 (€ 1,530,076.56).

Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von USD 782.500,00 (€ 570.543,20) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 600.000,00 – 800.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Pietro Buonaccorsi mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit The Holy Family With The Infant Saint John The Baptist beobachtet, die im Januar 2011 für USD 2.098.500,00 (€ 1.530.076,56) versteigert wurde.
