The work Recto: Camillus And Brennus; Verso: Studies For Three Figures by Pietro Buonaccorsi was sold in the The Jeffrey E. Horvitz Collection of Italian Drawings auction at Sothebys in New York in January 2008. The »bidding war« ended at USD 145,000.00 (€ 97,702.31), 61% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Pietro Buonaccorsi achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Holy Family With The Infant Saint John The Baptist in January 2011 with an auction result of USD 2,098,500.00 (€ 1,530,076.56).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 61 % übertroffen
Die Arbeit Recto: Camillus And Brennus; Verso: Studies For Three Figures von Pietro Buonaccorsi wurde im Januar 2008 in der Auktion The Jeffrey E. Horvitz Collection of Italian Drawings bei Sothebys in New York versteigert.
