In May 2007 Christies in London held the auction Scone Palace and Blairquhan The Selected Contents of Two Great Scottish Houses, which included the work The Adoration of the Magi by Pietro Bianchi. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 22,800.00 (€ 33,551.74), 52% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Pietro Bianchi - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Diana And Actaeon; And The Rape Of Europa, which sold at auction in January 2015 for USD 125,000.00 (€ 110,717.45).

Im Mai 2007 führte Christies in London die Auktion Scone Palace and Blairquhan The Selected Contents of Two Great Scottish Houses durch, in der auch die Arbeit The Adoration of the Magi von Pietro Bianchi zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 22.800,00 (€ 33.551,74) und damit 52% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Pietro Bianchi mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Diana And Actaeon; And The Rape Of Europa beobachtet, die im Januar 2015 für USD 125.000,00 (€ 110.717,45) versteigert wurde.
