The work A Nude Curled Prone With His Left Arm Extended by Pietro Bianchi was sold in the Old Master Drawings - CSK auction at Christies in London in July 2001. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 800.00 – 1,200.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 881.25 (€ 1,435.05) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Pietro Bianchi achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Diana And Actaeon; And The Rape Of Europa in January 2015 with an auction result of USD 125,000.00 (€ 110,717.45).
