Auction result well in line with expectations
In June 2020 Sothebys in Paris held the auction Tableaux Dessins Sculptures 1300-1900, which included the work Socrates by Pietro Bellotti. The price achieved of EUR 15,000.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 12,000.00 – 18,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Pietro Bellotti achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Venice with the Punta della Dogana, looking East towards the Doge's Palace; and Venice with the Grand Canal, S. Geremia and the entrance to the Cannaregio in July last year with an auction result of GBP 425,000.00 (€ 507,525.49).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juni 2020 führte Sothebys in Paris die Auktion Tableaux Dessins Sculptures 1300-1900 durch, in der auch die Arbeit Socrates von Pietro Bellotti zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 15.000,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 12.000,00 – 18.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Pietro Bellotti erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Venice with the Punta della Dogana, looking East towards the Doge's Palace; and Venice with the Grand Canal, S. Geremia and the entrance to the Cannaregio im Juli letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 425.000,00 (€ 507.525,49).
