In January 2020 Sothebys in New York held the auction 19th Century European Art, which included the work Nude Bather On A Rock by Pietro Bazzanti. The price achieved of USD 50,000.00 (€ 45,073.47) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 40,000.00 – 60,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Nude Bather On A Rock is the most expensive artwork by Pietro Bazzanti that we have observed at auctions so far.

Im Januar 2020 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion 19th Century European Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Nude Bather On A Rock von Pietro Bazzanti zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 50.000,00 (€ 45.073,47) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 40.000,00 – 60.000,00 angegeben worden. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist Nude Bather On A Rock das teuerste Kunstwerk von Pietro Bazzanti, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
