In June 2015 Bukowski in Stockholm held the auction Klassiska, which included the work "The Wrestlers" by Pietro Bazzanti. The »bidding war« ended at SEK 85,000.00 (€ 9,182.80), 70% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Pietro Bazzanti have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Nude Bather On A Rock in January 2020 with an auction result of USD 50,000.00 (€ 45,073.47).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 70 % übertroffen
Im Juni 2015 führte Bukowski in Stockholm die Auktion Klassiska durch, in der auch die Arbeit "The Wrestlers" von Pietro Bazzanti zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von SEK 85.000,00 (€ 9.182,80) und damit 70% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Pietro Bazzanti auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Nude Bather On A Rock im Januar 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 50.000,00 (€ 45.073,47).
