Auction result well in line with expectations
In June 2020 Christies in Paris held the auction Post-War and Contemporary Art, which included this untitled work by Pieter Vermeersch. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of EUR 10,000.00 – 15,000.00, the actual price achieved of EUR 11,250.00 could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Other works by Pieter Vermeersch have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in December this year the work Sans titre/ Untitled was auctioned for EUR 19,200.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juni 2020 führte Christies in Paris die Auktion Post-War and Contemporary Art durch, in der auch diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Pieter Vermeersch zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 10.000,00 – 15.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von EUR 11.250,00 konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Andere Arbeiten von Pieter Vermeersch konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Dezember diesen Jahres die Arbeit Sans titre/ Untitled für EUR 19.200,00 versteigert.
