Upper estimated price slightly exceeded

However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Pieter van Noort - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work A huntsman with dead game and a spaniel in a landscape with hounds coursing beyond, which sold at auction in July 2000 for GBP 9,400.00 (€ 15,199.68).
