Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In July 2013 Sothebys in London held the auction Old Master & British Drawings including French Masterworks from the Dormeuil Collection, which included the work A Saddled Horse, Seen From The Back by Pieter van Bloemen. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 9,375.00 (€ 10,712.57), 17% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Pieter van Bloemen achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work A mounted cavalier, seen from behind in December 2011 with an auction result of GBP 253,250.00 (€ 303,302.65).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Juli 2013 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Old Master & British Drawings including French Masterworks from the Dormeuil Collection durch, in der auch die Arbeit A Saddled Horse, Seen From The Back von Pieter van Bloemen zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 9.375,00 (€ 10.712,57) und damit 17% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Pieter van Bloemen erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit A mounted cavalier, seen from behind im Dezember 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 253.250,00 (€ 303.302,65).
