Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Pieter Oyens achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work A copiist at work in the Galeries du Luxembourg, Paris in October 2000 with an auction result of NLG 44,467.60 (€ 21,342.98).
