Auction result well in line with expectations
The work "Médidation" by Pieter Oyens was sold in the Autumn Classic Sale, Stockholm auction at Bukowski in Stockholm in December 2012. It changed hands for a price of SEK 24,000.00 (€ 2,795.69) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of SEK 20,000.00 – 25,000.00. Admittedly, works by Pieter Oyens have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work A copiist at work in the Galeries du Luxembourg, Paris in October 2000 with an auction result of NLG 44,467.60 (€ 21,342.98).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit "Médidation" von Pieter Oyens wurde im Dezember 2012 in der Auktion Autumn Classic Sale, Stockholm bei Bukowski in Stockholm versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von SEK 24.000,00 (€ 2.795,69) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von SEK 20.000,00 – 25.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Pieter Oyens auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit A copiist at work in the Galeries du Luxembourg, Paris im Oktober 2000 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von NLG 44.467,60 (€ 21.342,98).
