Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Dutch A View Of The River Rhine Near Arnhem by Pieter Lodewijk Francisco Kluyver was auctioned at Sothebys in Amsterdam in April 2008. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of EUR 5,000.00 – 7,000.00, the actual price achieved of EUR 5,250.00 could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Pieter Lodewijk Francisco Kluyver have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Figures in an extensive summer landscape, a windmill in the distance in October 2004 with an auction result of EUR 47,800.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Dutch A View Of The River Rhine Near Arnhem von Pieter Lodewijk Francisco Kluyver kam im April 2008 bei Sothebys in Amsterdam zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 5.000,00 – 7.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von EUR 5.250,00 konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Pieter Lodewijk Francisco Kluyver auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Figures in an extensive summer landscape, a windmill in the distance im Oktober 2004 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 47.800,00.
