Auction result well in line with expectations
In November 2016 Christies in Amsterdam held the auction Old Masters & 19th Century Art - including Dutch Impressionism, which included the work A wooded landscape in winter by Pieter Lodewijk Francisco Kluyver. The price achieved of EUR 3,750.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Pieter Lodewijk Francisco Kluyver achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Figures in an extensive summer landscape, a windmill in the distance in October 2004 with an auction result of EUR 47,800.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im November 2016 führte Christies in Amsterdam die Auktion Old Masters & 19th Century Art - including Dutch Impressionism durch, in der auch die Arbeit A wooded landscape in winter von Pieter Lodewijk Francisco Kluyver zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 3.750,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 3.000,00 – 5.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Pieter Lodewijk Francisco Kluyver erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Figures in an extensive summer landscape, a windmill in the distance im Oktober 2004 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 47.800,00.
