Auction result well in line with expectations
In December 2018 Sothebys in London held the auction 19th Century European Paintings, which included the work Dutch a Wooded Winter Landscape With Deer by Pieter Gerardus van Os. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 20,000.00 – 30,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 22,500.00 (€ 25,067.00) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Other works by Pieter Gerardus van Os have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in November 2011 the work A wooded winter landscape with deers was auctioned for EUR 29,800.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Dezember 2018 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion 19th Century European Paintings durch, in der auch die Arbeit Dutch a Wooded Winter Landscape With Deer von Pieter Gerardus van Os zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 20.000,00 – 30.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 22.500,00 (€ 25.067,00) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Andere Arbeiten von Pieter Gerardus van Os konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im November 2011 die Arbeit A wooded winter landscape with deers für EUR 29.800,00 versteigert.
