Auction result well in line with expectations
In February 2008 Christies in Amsterdam held the auction Pictures,Watercolours and Drawings, which included the work Musical happiness; and Time for tea by Pieter Geraard Sjamaar. The price achieved of EUR 3,750.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Other works by Pieter Geraard Sjamaar have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in September 2007 the work The Evening Market was auctioned for EUR 4,750.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Februar 2008 führte Christies in Amsterdam die Auktion Pictures,Watercolours and Drawings durch, in der auch die Arbeit Musical happiness; and Time for tea von Pieter Geraard Sjamaar zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 3.750,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 3.000,00 – 5.000,00 angegeben worden. Andere Arbeiten von Pieter Geraard Sjamaar konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im September 2007 die Arbeit The Evening Market für EUR 4.750,00 versteigert.
