Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Pieter Gallis; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot A festoon of fruit, hanging from a nail with a blue ribbon sold at auction in December 2019 with the realized price of GBP 27,500.00 (€ 32,501.78).
