Upper estimated price slightly exceeded

Here, the upper estimate of EUR 30,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for EUR 31,070.00. Other works by Pieter Gallis have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of GBP 27,500.00 (€ 32,501.78) in December 2019 for the work A festoon of fruit, hanging from a nail with a blue ribbon.
