Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Calf in the snow by Piet de Regt was sold in the Pictures, Watercolours and Drawings auction at Christies in Amsterdam in September 2006. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of EUR 1,000.00 – 1,500.00, the actual price achieved of EUR 1,020.00 could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Other works by Piet de Regt have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in September 2002 the work Aan de wind: sailing boats in a breeze was auctioned for EUR 1,195.00.
