This artwork by Piet de Regt achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Amsterdam in March 2000. In the Pictures, Watercolours and Drawings auction, the work Slootje, voorjaar sold for NLG 2,340.40 (€ 995.66) - well above the upper estimate of NLG 1,200.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Piet de Regt; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Aan de wind: sailing boats in a breeze sold at auction in September 2002 with the realized price of EUR 1,195.00.

Dieses Kunstwerk von Piet de Regt erzielte im März 2000 bei Christies in Amsterdam einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Pictures, Watercolours and Drawings wurde die Arbeit Slootje, voorjaar für NLG 2.340,40 (€ 995,66) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von NLG 1.200,00. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Piet de Regt; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Aan de wind: sailing boats in a breeze im September 2002 mit dem Hammerpreis von EUR 1.195,00.
