Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In February 2002 Christies in London held the auction OLD MASTER PICTURES, which included the work A shoemaker and his apprentice by Pieter Angellis. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 3,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 3,290.00 (€ 5,368.95). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Pieter Angellis achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work A view of Covent Garden, London, on market day in December 2012 with an auction result of GBP 56,450.00 (€ 69,618.53).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Februar 2002 führte Christies in London die Auktion OLD MASTER PICTURES durch, in der auch die Arbeit A shoemaker and his apprentice von Pieter Angellis zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 3.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 3.290,00 (€ 5.368,95) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Pieter Angellis erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit A view of Covent Garden, London, on market day im Dezember 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 56.450,00 (€ 69.618,53).
