The work 'Interieur Met Gele Tulpen' by Piet van Wijngaerdt was auctioned at Sothebys in Amsterdam in March 2007. The result of EUR 1,200.00 was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of EUR 1,200.00 – 1,600.00. Admittedly, works by Piet van Wijngaerdt have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Het Toilet in May 2006 with an auction result of EUR 11,400.00.
Zuschlag beim unteren Schätzpreis
Die Arbeit 'Interieur Met Gele Tulpen' von Piet van Wijngaerdt kam im März 2007 bei Sothebys in Amsterdam zur Auktion. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von EUR 1.200,00 entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 1.200,00 – 1.600,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Piet van Wijngaerdt auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Het Toilet im Mai 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 11.400,00.
