Auction result misses estimated price range
In January 2007 a collector was able to acquire the work Compositie - Farmers in a field by Piet van Wijngaerdt for EUR 960.00. This price was achieved in the auction Pictures,Watercolours and Drawings at Christies in Amsterdam and was even below the estimate range of EUR 1,000.00 – 1,500.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Piet van Wijngaerdt achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Het Toilet in May 2006 with an auction result of EUR 11,400.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Januar 2007 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Compositie - Farmers in a field von Piet van Wijngaerdt für EUR 960,00 erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Pictures,Watercolours and Drawings bei Christies in Amsterdam erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 1.000,00 – 1.500,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Piet van Wijngaerdt erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Het Toilet im Mai 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 11.400,00.
