In June 2021 Artcurial in Paris held the auction Old Master & 19th century Art, which included the work "La Fantaisie" by Pierre Puvis de Chavannes. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 10,400.00 30% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Pierre Puvis de Chavannes achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Sketch For Summer : The Bath in June 2018 with an auction result of EUR 212,500.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um 30 % übertroffen
Im Juni 2021 führte Artcurial in Paris die Auktion Old Master & 19th century Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit "La Fantaisie" von Pierre Puvis de Chavannes zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 10.400,00 und damit 30% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Pierre Puvis de Chavannes erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Sketch For Summer : The Bath im Juni 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 212.500,00.
