Auction result well in line with expectations
In December 2013 Sothebys in London held the auction Old Master & British Paintings Day Sale, which included the work The Annunciation To The Shepherds by Pierre Louis Cretey. The price achieved of GBP 15,000.00 (€ 18,042.67) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 12,000.00 – 18,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Pierre Louis Cretey - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Le Repos Pendant La Fuite En Egyptepierre-Louis Cretey ; The Rest During The Flight Into Egypt ; Oil On Canvas, which sold at auction in June 2013 for EUR 39,900.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Dezember 2013 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Old Master & British Paintings Day Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit The Annunciation To The Shepherds von Pierre Louis Cretey zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 15.000,00 (€ 18.042,67) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 12.000,00 – 18.000,00 angegeben worden.
