Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Pierre Lélu could be acquired at Sothebys in London in July 2016 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Old Master and British Works on Paper Including drawings from the Oppé Collection auction, the work Hagar And The Angel changed hands for GBP 2,375.00 (€ 2,822.01) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 2,500.00 – 3,500.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Pierre Lélu - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Die Begegnung von Abraham und Melchizadech. Genesis 14., which sold at auction in September 2013 for CHF 7,800.00 (€ 6,373.70).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Pierre Lélu konnte im Juli 2016 bei Sothebys in London für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Old Master and British Works on Paper Including drawings from the Oppé Collection wechselte die Arbeit Hagar And The Angel für GBP 2.375,00 (€ 2.822,01) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 2.500,00 – 3.500,00.
