The work Composition by Pierre Lagage was sold in the IMPRESSIONIST, MODERN AND POST WAR ART auction at Christies in London in March 2002. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 1,116.25 (€ 1,824.77), 40% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Pierre Lagage achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Composition - 1950 in April 2015 with an auction result of EUR 28,600.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um 40 % übertroffen
Die Arbeit Composition von Pierre Lagage wurde im März 2002 in der Auktion IMPRESSIONIST, MODERN AND POST WAR ART bei Christies in London versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 1.116,25 (€ 1.824,77) und damit 40% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Pierre Lagage erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Composition - 1950 im April 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 28.600,00.
