In March 2010 Artcurial in Paris held the auction Contemporary Art, which included the work Composition, 1974 by Pierre Lagage. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 1,020.00 46% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Pierre Lagage achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Composition - 1950 in April 2015 with an auction result of EUR 28,600.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um 46 % übertroffen
Im März 2010 führte Artcurial in Paris die Auktion Contemporary Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Composition, 1974 von Pierre Lagage zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 1.020,00 und damit 46% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Pierre Lagage erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Composition - 1950 im April 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 28.600,00.
