Auction result well in line with expectations
The work An Arcadian Landscape With A Classical Temple And Aqueduct by Pierre-Henri de Valenciennes was sold in the Master Paintings auction at Sothebys in New York in May 2016. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 80,000.00 – 120,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 81,250.00 (€ 72,968.12) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Die Arbeit An Arcadian Landscape With A Classical Temple And Aqueduct von Pierre-Henri de Valenciennes wurde im Mai 2016 in der Auktion Master Paintings bei Sothebys in New York versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von USD 80.000,00 – 120.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von USD 81.250,00 (€ 72.968,12) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen.
