In April 2018 Christies in New York held the auction Old Masters Part II, which included the work Portrait Of A Lady, Three-Quarter-Length, Traditionally Identified As Louise Bernardine De Durfort, Duchess Of Duras (1678-1747), With Cupid And A Page, By A Fountain by Pierre Gobert. Here, the upper estimate of USD 12,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 12,500.00 (€ 10,352.82). Admittedly, works by Pierre Gobert have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Portrait Of A Young Boy In A Hunting Jacket Holding A Musket in January 2008 with an auction result of USD 73,000.00 (€ 49,188.06).

Im April 2018 führte Christies in New York die Auktion Old Masters Part II durch, in der auch die Arbeit Portrait Of A Lady, Three-Quarter-Length, Traditionally Identified As Louise Bernardine De Durfort, Duchess Of Duras (1678-1747), With Cupid And A Page, By A Fountain von Pierre Gobert zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 12.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 12.500,00 (€ 10.352,82) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Pierre Gobert auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Portrait Of A Young Boy In A Hunting Jacket Holding A Musket im Januar 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 73.000,00 (€ 49.188,06).
