A top price for Pierre-Franc Lamy - as previously expected
In June 2002 Christies in London held the auction 19th Century European Art including Ottomans and Orientalist, which included the work Statues in the garden of Versailles by Pierre-Franc Lamy. The price achieved of GBP 1,762.50 (€ 2,726.19) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 1,500.00 – 2,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Statues in the garden of Versailles is the most expensive artwork by Pierre-Franc Lamy that we have observed at auctions so far.

Im Juni 2002 führte Christies in London die Auktion 19th Century European Art including Ottomans and Orientalist durch, in der auch die Arbeit Statues in the garden of Versailles von Pierre-Franc Lamy zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 1.762,50 (€ 2.726,19) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 1.500,00 – 2.000,00 angegeben worden.
