Auction result well in line with expectations
In December 2005 Christies in London held the auction 19th Century European Art including Russian Pictures, which included the work Dordrecht by moonlight by Pierre-Franc Lamy. The price achieved of GBP 1,800.00 (€ 2,612.60) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 1,500.00 – 2,000.00. Other works by Pierre-Franc Lamy have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in June 2002 the work Statues in the garden of Versailles was auctioned for GBP 1,762.50 (€ 2,726.19).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Dezember 2005 führte Christies in London die Auktion 19th Century European Art including Russian Pictures durch, in der auch die Arbeit Dordrecht by moonlight von Pierre-Franc Lamy zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 1.800,00 (€ 2.612,60) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 1.500,00 – 2.000,00 angegeben worden. Andere Arbeiten von Pierre-Franc Lamy konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Juni 2002 die Arbeit Statues in the garden of Versailles für GBP 1.762,50 (€ 2.726,19) versteigert.
