Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Pierre Dmitrienko could be acquired at Sothebys in Paris in June 2016 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Art Contemporain auction, the work La Sorcière De La Pluie changed hands for EUR 23,750.00 - missing the lower end of the estimate range of EUR 30,000.00 – 50,000.00. Admittedly, works by Pierre Dmitrienko have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Montagnes Rouges Du Sud De L'Espagne, 1959 in October 2007 with an auction result of EUR 117,724.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Pierre Dmitrienko konnte im Juni 2016 bei Sothebys in Paris für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Art Contemporain wechselte die Arbeit La Sorcière De La Pluie für EUR 23.750,00 den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 30.000,00 – 50.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Pierre Dmitrienko auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Montagnes Rouges Du Sud De L'Espagne, 1959 im Oktober 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 117.724,00.
