It changed hands for a price of EUR 5,670.00 achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of EUR 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Admittedly, works by Pierre Bettencourt have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work La Nuit De Cortes, 1971 in May 2010 with an auction result of EUR 24,083.00.

Die Arbeit Les Nuits De Lhassa von Pierre Bettencourt kam im Mai 2021 bei Sothebys in Paris zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von EUR 5.670,00 den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 4.000,00 – 6.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Pierre Bettencourt auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit La Nuit De Cortes, 1971 im Mai 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 24.083,00.
