A top price for Pierre Bernard - as previously expected
The work Portrait Of A Lady by Pierre Bernard was auctioned at Sothebys in New York in June 2011. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 6,000.00 – 8,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 6,250.00 (€ 4,303.52) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Portrait Of A Lady is the most expensive artwork by Pierre Bernard that we have observed at auctions so far.

Die Arbeit Portrait Of A Lady von Pierre Bernard kam im Juni 2011 bei Sothebys in New York zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von USD 6.000,00 – 8.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von USD 6.250,00 (€ 4.303,52) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen.
